Backpacking in the Havasupai Indian Reservation

I just spent a week backpacking in the Grand Canyon and Havasupai Indian Reservation in Arizona and had the time of my life. It was my big vacation for the summer and being outside, away from computers, emails, and the real world was such a treat.

The Indian reservation that we backpacked through had red rock canyons, turquoise water, and waterfalls throughout it. It was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.

The lime in the water is what makes the composition of the water the beautiful turquoise color and contrasting with the red rocks and blue skies made the waterfalls a sight I had never seen before.

What trips are you taking the summer? I know it is prime camping and backpacking weather, so where are you going?
